Life as a Day Student

Although TAS was founded in 1894 as the pre-eminent boarding school in the New England North West, the school has always welcomed day students amongst its population. Now making up half of all Middle and Senior School enrolments, day students contribute enormously to the life of the school.
Life at TAS is more than time in class between the first bell and the last. All students are expected to engage in the broad co-curricular offering of the school – whether that be on the sporting field, in student clubs, engaging in the creative arts or being challenged in outdoor adventures.
