Students’ Representative Council

The TAS SRC promotes student leadership and democracy by giving students from Middle and Senior School a voice on issues important to them.

Comprising elected representatives from Years 9-12, along with the Middle School Head Monitors, the council meets on a regular basis to discuss various aspects of the school and develop initiatives that boost student welfare and engagement.

The philosophy is for each year group to have an equal voice and weighting on any issue.

The is led by Year 12 students who take ideas and initiatives back to the prefect body, or a member of staff, for consideration.

Elections for the SRC are held at the start of each year. Middle School Head Monitors are appointed ex-officio.
